Our house is situated in Neugasteig (aprox. 5 km behind Neustift on the way to the Stubai glacier). The next bus stop is about 2-3 minutes by foot away. Many restaurants can be reached by foot or car.

There are hiking tracks for all levels of skills - no matter if you are a beginner or professional hiker! Neugasteig is the ideal starting point for waling, hiking and climbing tours. For example, the "Mischbachalm" can be reached directly from our house. The track beginns just 5 walking minutes next to our house. Other tours ca be reached via bus connection.
Due to our close distance to the Stubai Glacier our house is a popular address also in the winter. Either via free skibus or private car - the valley station is just 10 minutes away. Also the other skiing areas are worth visiting: Elferlifte, Sclick2000 or the Serlesbahnen in Mieders. In proximity to our house you find a family skiing lift as well as a track for cross country skking and prepared winter walking paths.
For days without sport there is also a great place to visit. Innsbruck is a wonderful city with a lot of seights and culture (museums, old town, golden roof, Bergisel Ski jump, Swarovski cristal world, silvermine Schwaz, etc..). Shopping is another good reason for visiting the city or some of the shopping centres of the town.
